After a decade of experience as an organization, we realized something very important: the quality of teaching at your program is directly reflected in the culture and success of the team.  Unfortunately, the teaching of drill is often times mundane, boring, and so demotivating that you lose the quick-thinking cadets early on as they realize “do it again but better” isn’t a tactic that resembles any great teaching environment they’ve experienced to date.

At our Open Drill Teach-the-Teacher Camps, you’ll learn crucial information about performing drill at the most specific level, easy-to-implement structures for practice that will make time fly while everyone enjoys themselves and gets better, and you’ll walk away ready to teach your team to be the best they can be!

We want you to send your cadets in GROUPS.  Therefore, MOST of our camps utilize a SCHOOL PACKAGE registration model that gives you up to a certain number of cadets per package as follows:
1-2 Commanders/Leaders/Seniors 
1-2 Enfranchised Sophomores/Juniors
1-2 Promising Basically Trained New Drillers 

Our signature framework for teaching and practicing drill will make use of these groupings for maximum effectiveness as cadets return “home” and share their knowledge and skills!

We are always looking for motivated partners to work with towards hosting Open Camps around the country!  You’re a good fit to host a Teach-the-Teacher camp for your area if:

  • You would expect attendance of AT LEAST 30-40 cadets and those cadet leaders are ACTIVELY interested in learning about becoming strong drill team leaders for their teams (these Camps are NOT a good fit for training BRAND NEW cadets)
  • You have facilities which include a central classroom with projection ability via HDMI and white/Smart/etc. boards, an indoor open training area (i.e. a gym or common area) sufficient for up to 30-40 cadets, a training area suitable to perform armed exhibition drill (i.e. a cafeteria or wrestling gym) sufficient for up to 25 cadets
  • You have parent or program support sufficient to offer all attendees lunch each day as well as complimentary coffee for attending adults if applicable
